My name is Björn Granberg, I hold a Master’s degree in Economic History. This profile is an abbreviated version of my work life.

In 2019, I founded Mentabee AB – the company that owns m50m.eu, drawing upon a diverse career that began in the mid-1980s when I started as a care assistant at a large foster home.

By the early 1990s, I worked as a course leader in mental health and a stress coach for the bus drivers at Stockholm Public Transport (SL) in collaboration with the Public Health Institute. My journey then took me to environmental research focused on sustainable development at Stockholm University, which propelled me into various interesting positions, among others as an expert on the government’s Recycling Commission.

I’ve been fortunate to share my knowledge as a columnist for the newspaper Metro, and sidetracks such as managing and authoring the official Swedish training programs for mobile crane and tower crane operators. In addition to my writing and management roles, I’ve had the opportunity to work as CAD/CAM programmer, race horse trainer, documentary filmmaker, photographer, some minor contributions to the Seawater Greenhouse project etc. At Linköping University, I served as a research investigator examining ways to extend product life spans in a market economy, further broadening my experience.

My training includes a formal 1.5-year therapist program in alternative, mostly somatic, methods in Denmark, as well as certifications as a Mindfulness instructor and a Co-Counsellor. I’m also the co-founder of the Dininsida psychotherapy clinic.

Just to be clear, I am not a licensed therapist and I do not accept clients. I am primarily a writer, using my skills as a former researcher and drawing on extensive practical experience in a wide variety of fields.

Balancing my professional life, I’m the proud father of five grown children. Today I am living in Florence, Italy.
